I didn't like my first attempt at a cover for this sotry and decided to revisit it. This is the result.

The story of a girl from a religious small town on a cross-country journey to find her brother, and the man who made sure she didn't end up dead in a ditch somewhere.

The original to this was more upbeat, having lovers running with a sunset behind them. It worked and maybe was a little too generic.

With this one, I wanted to show Lacey felt alone and scared, heading out on a journey for the first time. Noah here is a figure offering his strength but also with his own demons to slay.
